Acoustic Or Electric Guitar?

Are you starting to play guitar? Have you received this advice from people in the 'know'?

'First get an acoustic if you want to learn to play, then later get an electric'.

This is TERRIBLE advice, the acoustic guitar is much harder to play chords and lead lines on. Why? It simply requires more pressure to each string in order to make the note sound.Does that sound like a great way to start playing? If you have a guitar teacher and they have given you this advice you might want to ask them why they did.

If you are looking for guitar lessons in Stafford, Cannock, Lichfield, Brewood, Wolverhampton or Rugeley then you are in the right place. Call Scott Adams, 0781 864 7517 or email him razorwiresa@gmail.com

An electric guitar will offer an easier first few months, and lets be honest, that's the danger zone for students giving up.

Guitar teachers are not all the same. You don't have to be qualified to teach and you should always check out your teachers education history.
