It can be hard to commit to practise at the best of times, let-alone when can see the sun is shining and everybody is out side having fun.

The good news is that if you practice in the RIGHT way you will still have plenty of time to enjoy the sunshine and get much better.

Practise makes perfect, or so the saying goes, but that's not strictly true. If you don't practise the right things you will not get better. How do you know what is right or wrong. You won't know, neither does YouTube or 'your mate down the pub'!!!! That's the job of a qualified guitar teacher.
