This is just out and out rock guitar. once again totally improvised. We went for a very heavy guitar sound in the mix. It was a blast doing this and i hope you can take something from it. A technical workout.

A a jazz rock improvisation. This piece starts off with a kind of hollow sound using octavesand develops into something quite strong at the end. Something different from me.

A solo using Malmsteen’s favorite scale Phrygian dominant. this kind of guitar playing takes me right back to the 80s . Malmsteen is well known for his Neo-classical guitar playing.
